Part 38 is here but better than that I have some great news of my own. I start University late this month doing a Bachelor of Industrial Design. What will that mean for this and future projects. Well, University will always be a higher priority but I'll still find some time for this.
PACIFIDLOG TOWN
(Image sourced from Bulbapedia)
The base of Pacifidlog town measures 40x80 blocks. While I was removing the water the base was too small to fit with route 131. This was because, as I found out I made one mistake making route 131 and that was I misaligned one of the rocks by 16 blocks which threw the rest of the route out. The solution was to align everything properly which took just a few minutes.
Pacifidlog town is sandwiched between two rock faces which is why the towns footprint is so tall.
Floating platforms. Pacifidlog town is built on a colony of Corsola which are mostly pink in colour. So...
Using two shades of pink clay to make Corsola upon which the houses and Pokemon centre are built upon.
The jungle wood slab walkways connect the platforms.
These houses and there are five of them are made of Jungle wood slabs and logs with a hay bale roof. The houses in Pacifidlog town have a primitive and unsophisticated look to them. That's not a bad thing though. It makes the houses unique to any other city of town.
And after cloning the houses to all the other platforms except the one with the Pokemon Centre the only thing that needs to be done now is furnish the houses.
Here is one example of a furnished house. The interior is very cramped with only a floor space of 4x3 blocks.
And that marks the end of house building in Hoenn.
All finished. Just need a flood of water.
A flood just like that.
